Meet The Homestead — a one-of-a-kind Damascus knife from the 2R Bar Collector’s Knife Vault. Built for hunters, outdoorsmen, and collectors, it delivers dependable performance in the field while standing out as a distinctive, heritage-rich display piece.
Forged from layered Damascus steel, the blade is crafted from 1095 high-carbon steel and nickel-rich 15N20, folded and patterned more than 200 times to create its clean, flowing lines and balanced strength. Properly heat-treated, it offers strong edge retention, reliable toughness, and long-term durability. Hardness: approximately 58–60 HRC on the Rockwell scale.
The handle is built from walnut, padauk, and genuine deer antler — harvested by Tim in 2024. Each handle is individually shaped, contoured, and finished by hand in the 2R Bar shop, giving this knife a secure, comfortable, and truly one-of-a-kind feel. The natural contrast between the warm walnut, vivid padauk, and organic antler creates a striking, heirloom-worthy piece unlike anything else in the Vault.
