Forged from layered Damascus steel, the blade is crafted from 260+ layers of 1095 high-carbon steel and nickel-rich 15N20, folded and patterned to create its distinct flowing lines and balanced strength. Heat-treated to approximately 58–60 HRC, it offers dependable edge retention, rugged durability, and corrosion resistance suitable for real-world use. The aggressive tactical profile, reinforced spine, and sweeping edge make it a capable tool with a commanding presence.
The handle features Buckskin Yellow Birch — a composite birch material individually shaped, contoured, and finished by hand in the 2R Bar shop. The sculpted grip provides confident control, while the natural tones and wave-cut pattern make this piece truly one of a kind. As with all Collector’s Knife Vault pieces, this knife is built once and never duplicated.

Never store Damascus steel long-term in any sheath. Trapped moisture can cause rust over time. Clean and dry the blade after each use, and apply a light coat of oil or 2R Bar Blade Wax to preserve the steel and sharpen the contrast of the Damascus pattern.
